Things to do in and around MBP
Enter MBP: Register your character as soon as you create the journal. A character who has not been registered, is considered inexistent in the universe. Registration to MBP is easy: all you have to do is leave a comment to enter_mbp with your celebrity's name, journal username and the category your celebrity should be listed in. You should get a comment back within 24 hours, telling you that your registration has been processed and that you are now a full citizen of the MBP universe. We will also tell you what (if anything) you should do before you can get into must_be_pop community.
Must Be Pop: The main community. This is where the universe "happens"... members can introduce themselves there, gossip about happenings and events, rant about whatever is on their minds and generally talk about whatever they want. This is also where administrative updates are posted and where rule changes are voted on, so we suggest that you add the community to your friends list.
You need all the required disclaimers, 3 entries and one week of seniority before you can be a member of the must_be_pop community. However, you can leave comments and join into discussions there as soon as you are a registered citizen of the universe, so add it as soon as you start out.
FriendLink: a place for newbies to get hooked up with someone they can ask about things and who will introduce them to others. For people who have been around: a place to branch out into new groups and get hooked up with new friends.
welcome_wagon: announce your character and make first contact.
celeb_news: post celebrity gossip or to see what other celebrities are up to.
It's an open community and is designed to help each other keep up with what our celebrities are doing.
mbp_chat: find people to chat with, or contact information. It's a closed community with a large list of
moderators to add you.
mbp_events: find out the latest events - roleplayed on AIM or otherwise.
If you're bored, plan your own AIM happening. Some people are cool with RPing in *asterisks* and some aren't, but there are always people around willing to act out a happening on AIM. Publicize it in the MBP community and at least the moderators will be there with bells on, and specify somewhere that it will be happening on AIM and roleplaying
is expected.
