Registration is mandatory for all journals as per July 2nd, 2005. If you are not registered, you do not exist in the MBP universe. First to register is official.

PLEASE NOTE that some celebrities would rather not be portrayed in an online role-playing game. In MBP, we try to respect that.
Please get in touch with MBP administration if you know of other celebrities who prefer not to be portrayed, or if you are a celebrity who does not want to be a character in this game.
Note that we have no power over creation and deletion of journals, nor other games of similar nature.
When a character gets kicked out of the community (check out the "community rules" section if you wonder why that happens), a new creation needs a majority of community votes before he or she can officially be part of the game. This is mainly to avoid characters created out of spite or to get around punishment.
If you are absolutely determined to portray one of these, please get in touch with the administration team.
When a journal is not updated for six weeks or more, the character is considered vacant, according to the pretty much universally accepted "dead journal rule."
Another possibility for a character to become available again is when the player has announced in a post that he or she is giving it up. In other words, if you want one of them, you could probably try contacting the owner to take it over, but your best bet would just be to start a new journal for the person.
